So, when I brought my first summer's worth of paintings to show Rhona
Wenger, curator at the Grimsby Public Art Gallery, she admired them - but then
she said, come look at my walls... The new gallery building had very tall walls.
What if you hung them in some kind of a grid, she said. What if you painted
I picked myself up off the floor - here I was, thinking that 70 paintings was a
lot already - and started planning another summer's worth of painting.
And I'm so glad I did. I really think it allowed me to bring the project to a
deeper level than I thought possible. In the second summer's worth of
painting, I learned more about the mountain, about myself as a painter, and
about the act of seeing itself.
I'm also releasing these paintings for sale, except for the ones marked "NFS."
The ones marked "spoken for" are also just that. They're all $350 ea.
