100 Dresses for West Vancouver
during the Olympics
The Yukon Territorial Government was a contributing territory to the Winter Olympics in
Vancouver. They sent a variety of artists and musicians to act as cultural ambassadors to the
celebration in Vancouver.

The
West Vancouver Community Centre was an official Celebration Site for the Olympics. They
hosted Meshell Melvin and myself as artists in residence February 15 to 26. Meshell created her
chainstitch embroidery portraits. I did
100 Dresses for West Vancouver During the Olympics, my
fifteenth hundred.

Here are the paintings. They are installed in the display cases on the 1st and 2nd floors in the
Community Centre until March 31. They cost $100 each plus $5 gst. Please
contact me if you're
interested in purchasing any of them. Enjoy! Nicole.
